Taxonomy reference

To animate the bird I looked at both live video and animated videos

And I did the same for the part of the frog jumping

I also looked at different images when it came to drawing. It was hard to access the real thing but the images and the video did help me a lot.

Below is my animation so far with the bird flying and the frog.
They still need fixing. the second one is an other try

Taxonomy Update again

I've changed my idea once again but kept the concept the same.
Here was my original idea.

I felt it was the same method as I did Drip, Splat, Boing and I wanted to learn something much different.

Drip last update

After talking to Mattew I realized there are a lot of parts that need fixing but that needs time. Fixed some parts or at least tried. First are the walk cycles I tried doing again and not successful still. An the last video is the full animation. The rest of the changes are in the final video.

This is the outline for the last part I should animate its a small dance and her falling.

To do the parts of the notes I used the actual notes of the song in order not to just do some random notes on the screen.

And the day after again I tried fixing the walk cycle and finish the first part of the dance but I still don't know how is it going

Drip Dance

I referenced a combination of animated dance and live video dance to actually do the dance part. The dance I choice to do was ballet because that is what goes most with the classical music. Even though the character is old she dances ballet well because the music has some sort of magical spirit to it.

First I draw out lines and then I re-draw them to fit the character. The close up on the foot is is the other videos this is the out line for the close up for the upper body, arms and head.

Animating to dance is really hard I have to say even if I have drawn out the outlines at first. Here is what I produced today its not much at all but its a start.

Maybe I will make it a more close up shot.

its still needs fixing in certain areas and there are still some missing parts.

Drip so far again

I had to do the frames again because my file got ruined and I could not open it again. So here is is with everything so far. The room I did from observation to get the correct perspective and the dance I referenced videos from youtube. unfortunately due the time limit I have I don't have all the time in the world to find a really dancer and film them dancing.

There are missing seines in between so the story is still not flowing and may not be fully understood. At the same time the sound has still not been added so at parts also it is hard to understand.
