Trying to animate for taxonomy

Here is the video I used to get my motion for the animation from

I drew on top of the frames using the program toonboom. I skipped a lot of frames while doing this because  I felt they were all to similar and there could have been more larger space between the motion. I still feel the motion is not right. Below I posted what I did.

I did only a small part I was just trying to get a feel for the motion. When I come to animate I will plan out everything carefully first and then animate.
